Flowing in the big city
6:30 pm.
For the first time in months, I found myself sitting down for
dinner with "the gang" minus Dao.
Caught up with Gaew, and P' Ake in our usual restaurant
at Lang Suan
Three hours of talk...from work, travel to someone's sex life
P' Ake is about to go to Colorado, she said it's a good time
for her to move, she couldn't stand the feeling of loneliness
in this city any longer.
I wonder what she meant..
Gaew was talking about her dream marraige (which is still a
long way to go)
and her vacation next month with her boyfriend.

"where will we be this time next year?" I asked
Obviously, P' Ake will be studying in the US, Dao is already
in Brisbane,
Gaew said she's probably still stuck with her work at the
Wall Street Journal
For me, I wish that I would be somewhere either in Tokyo or
LA.
I think it's nearly time for me to move on

Took a taxi home, as the taxi went passed Rama IV
intersection,
a familiar car stood still right in the middle lane.
I couldn't see the face of the driver,
the taxi drove passed,
it was too late to tell the taxi driver to stop.
Ten mimutes later I was home and made a phone call
I was right, my dad's car broke down.
Dad said not to tell mom about it, but I was talking to him in
her bedroom.

I sat in front of the computer ..starring at the blank screen
typing a few words but decided to press the Back Space
button, deleted the alphabets one by one
00.30 am
As I was about to hop into the shower, Winney called,
Our conversation was about old friends we bumped into
recently after years and years of not hearing from them
Bangkok is quite small really, but it's strange that we never
see our friends anymore.
It's a little sad in a way.

Six and a half hours sleep,
finally, the caffeine from the Chai has completely
got out of my system.
Woke up this morning feeling so good, but wished that I
didn't set the alarm that early last night.

I remember vividly that I had some kind of dream last night
but woke up with no recollection of the details
it happens from time to time.
..wierd..

On the way to the office in my dad's other car,
I hummed quietly along to the familiar song on the radio
carried away in my own thoughts
